Reproduction

Certain rules apply when reproducing the La Trobe University armorial bearings to ensure that it remains clear and consistent whenever it is applied.

These rules include:

* Minimum size;
* Clear space;
* and colours.

Minimum size
To avoid reproduction problems, the armorial bearings must not be reproduced at a size where the width of the wordmark is less than 17.5mm. This applies to all forms of reproduction.

Clear space
Clear space is the area surrounding the armorial bearings which is designated as a non-print area. Wherever possible please allow more space than indicated as a clear space area. Above is the basic formula for calculating the minimum clear space for the armorial bearings. This is used to determine the clear space for the armorial bearings at any size.

Colours
Wherever possible please reproduce the La Trobe University armorial bearings in full colour - this means that the crest is always in colour (CMYK, RGB or PMS) and the typography in white or black.
